National Association of Consumer Advocates Hosts Auto Fraud Conference

As a non-profit organization for attorneys who fight for consumer protection, the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) educates and assists lawyers in the field to best represent their clients’ interests. With more than 1,500 members, NACA promotes justice in multiple forums, including networking opportunities, communication forums, and information sharing. Attorney Jeffrey Benjamin in Forest Hills, New York has been a member since 1998. Mr. Benjamin is the principal of a New York City law firm that specializes in consumer fraud and commercial litigation.

One hotbed of consumer fraud lies in auto sales transactions. NACA hosts events throughout the year, one of which is the auto fraud conference. This event, which is next scheduled for April 24-26, 2014, and held in San Diego, California, brings together individuals from across the country that represent consumers dealing with automobile sales and financing fraud. Those in attendance listen to expert speakers, attend workshop sessions, and participate in open international forums. They are also able to learn how legal issues pertaining to auto fraud get resolved, as well as how to increase visibility and profitability for their law firms. The conference is also an ideal time to network with other NACA members. The previous conference, held on August 3-5, 2012, took place in Clearwater Beach, Florida, and gave attendees the opportunity to walk through an auto fraud case step-by-step.
